Liz Seelye: Liz Seelye is a freelance illustrator located in West Michigan, graduated from Grand Valley State University with a BFA emphasis in Illustration and a minor in History. Art has always been her life, beginning with a child's crayon scribblings upon a wall to today's rich oil paints, soft water colors, and any other medium that is within grasp.

She would love most to illustrate children's books but is wide open to other possibilities. Besides drawing and painting, she also does a little bit of graphic design while learning various forms of fiber arts. Simply put, as long as Liz is creating, she is at her happiest.

Liz is an avid reader and is most inspired by strong female characters. She has a love for fairy tales and mythologies from around the globe.

Currently she is sharing living space with her baby sister, two nieces, and too many animals -- all who are greatly adored!
